Thanks everyone for coming to our wedding. I couldn't have asked for a better day, although I do wish it hadn't flown by so incredibly fast! Hopefully we will be posting some pictures of the wedding soon. Hugs and Love to everyone!

We've been getting some questions about what folks should wear to the various events. Here's our response:
Wedding:
The bridal party will be in tuxes and long dresses. I believe families will be in suits and dresses. That being said, you are welcome to wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable. Unfortunately it looks like the weather forecast will be fairly warm for Saturday.

I've updated the registry - the software I'm using here has the unfortunate side effect of not tracking inventory in a manner presentable to the end-user, so I've hacked together some support - but it requires me updating it manually occasionally. Done! "Inventory" should be up-to-date as of now =)

Our invitations are out the door! Wendy and I dropped them at the post office this afternoon, so they're currently on their way to your mail drops. We hope you like them :)
In other news, the rings arrived, a mysterious package that might be the cake toppers arrived, and things seem to actually be moving along just fine now. Shocking!

We had a pretty productive weekend. Had our site meeting with the caterer. She had a lot of great ideas and seemed very excited about the space. She even gave us hugs when we parted! :)
We also got to see the pictures of our cake toppers. They look like they are going to be really awesome, but that's all I'll say about them. Invitations are coming along well. We have more than half of them assembled now. They should all be finished in a few more nights (hopefully).

Just 60 days left until the wedding! Time is flying by, and there's so much to do…
Things are in motion. On the invitation front (since that's what most of you will physically get to enjoy first) the design has been finished and the first few prototypes have been made. We're tweaking some little things based on those results, but we should have the assembly line (well, two-person, two-cat assembly line) churning out results en masse very shortly. We hope to get them into your hands soon!

Our most interesting (I think) part of our honeymoon trip has now been added to the registry. It's actually relatively cheap, too, considering the other item I added as well (Les Mis).... but the really cool one is that we're going to be able to watch the sunrise from within Stonehenge! Normally when folks visit they're a little disappointed - you have to look upon the stones from a distance, behind a rope barrier. Luckily, I called several months ago (to England, thanks Apple for paying the phone bill!) and reserved us an early morning slot :)

Just pulled the trigger on a car rental for our time in England. Turned out we only needed 8 days, and the cost was slightly less than originally anticipated, so adjusted the registry entry appropriately :) Considering we love Sparkie (our Subaru Impreza wagon) here, we'll be more than comfortable in a similarly sized car over there...
Invitations are coming along slowly. Design has had some minor setbacks as some ideas haven't borne out their promise, but we'll get there soon!
